Articulating 70-Series Heavy Duty Arm System

The “Heavy Duty Flex Arm System” delivers up to 45 pounds of muscle, moves at the touch of a fingertip and offers the flexibility and modularity you need to meet your own custom design requirements. As with all the DecTron® product line, the 70-series is easy to mix and match to fit your unique needs. Design the arm system you need from our standard heavy-duty steel components, all of which may be assembled in virtually any configuration, up to a recommended maximum length of 48”.

A single Counterbalanced Arm Section may be used alone or added to a rigid section when vertical motion of up to 28” is needed. Available in 13 ½’, 18” and 24” lengths. DecTron® flex arms are completely stable in any position, yet can be moved at a touch of a fingertip.

All DecTron® Heavy Duty Arm component pivot shafts are made of carbon steel. Large bearing surfaces are oil-impregnated bronze and each includes a friction adjustment to eliminate free swinging, if desired. Standard finish for all components is black polyurethane enamel, which resists chemicals, stains, abrasions and normal daily abuse. To ensure our Heavy Duty Arm System meets your specific requirements, your DecTron® representative can assist in specifying custom-designed components.

A great accessory for the Heavy Duty Flex Arm System is the cable covers. You can easily route electrical wires or tubing without disconnecting or removing the end connectors. Just route the wire or tubing along the Flex Arm and/or Rigid Section and snap on the Cable Covers for a nice clean finished look. The cable covers are made from rugged 20ga. sheet metal.
