Formed in 1980, Special-T Shop Mfg., Inc. has designed, manufactured and assembled a wide variety of precision machined and finished mechanical products. Our first product lines were for the demanding fields of the Ophthalmology and Optometry profession. Meeting those customer’s requirements and solving their needs led us to design, manufacture and assemble a wide range of products and subassemblies for the diverse range needed in these fields. In 1997 Special-T Shop Mfg., Inc. acquired the DecTron® line of products from an established and very respected company. The acquisition of the DecTron® line of products was a very natural addition to Special-T Shop Mfg., Inc.
